Security Council (February 18) - Wonjune (Steve) Hur

Security Council has started working on the resolution papers, a number of answers for the problems faced by both parties. 16 proposals of the delegations of the United States and France (working paper 1.1.1) were passed with many amendments. After break, the committees moved on to the second topic: Al-shabaab terrorist activities in East Africa. Heated arguments went on with strong, backed-up arguments when there was a sudden intervention by DISEC. News broke out that the U.S soldiers were moved up to the arctic to battle Russian tensions, and due to the duty of the Security Council, they met with DISEC for a special voting if this power was legal or not. The day ended with 5 veto powers voting in favor of the U.S.
